When I lived there in that area I was convinced to try scrapple with maple syrup on top..It did taste good..Until I found out what it was..Haven't had it since...LOL
My father(may he rest in peace) is the only person I knew who liked scrapple! The thought of eating it makes me gag, but thanks for making me think about my Dad...that always makes me smile:) Sheila
That, folks, is genuine PA Dutch scrapple - There's nothing else like my Mamaw's, all fried up and covered in maple syrup....mmmmmm!!!!
