Remember This? Friday

Riffing on the Wordless Wednesday theme I've seen on a number of blogs now (Don's being my fave) I decided to try my own weekly novelty...Remember This? Friday. My sister Heidi and I have something we call New Memories. These are things wonderfully familiar during childhood that have been long since forgotten and then dug up anew. This past Christmas I found her a paperback children's book about Woodsy the Owl (Give a Hoot, Don't Pollute!) and a couple of weeks ago, in a stroke of memorial glee, she was able to identify my 4th grade teacher. So I've decided to share these "new memories" with all 5 of my blog readership. Enjoy! Here's today's:
This is another Mary and Heidi favorite. Heidi owned a Wheel-O which she rarely let me play with but we would ride our bikes up and down the stone driveway chanting the Wheel-O theme song:

When you've got a Wheel-o
What have you got?
A super magnetic
Mystery Top
Wheel-O!!!!!
(you have to scream this at the top of your lungs and slam on the brakes so that the rear tire goes skidding through the stones in the driveway)

You can get those at CrackerBarrel! Just don't go there with the kids--too many "momma, I gotta have its!" there.

Love your snarky answers post. We get some questions, but not as many as you do.

OH! I loved that thing when I was a kid! I haven't seen one in forever. By the way, I also loved your FAQs. It is amazing the questions people ask without thinking.

I think I'm deprived. I've never seen anything that looked like that before in my life!
